What do i do??
You will choose from one of the five options from the choice board below, for how you will demonstrate your knowledge of the events of World War II. You may choose to work independently or in pairs on the research and final assignment.

- 3 factors that contributed to increasing tensions before the war and eventually caused it to break out.
- List the countries involved and which side they were on.
- Major events during World War II.
- Effects on society during that time.
- Effects on history and modern-day society.
Option 1: Journal Entry:
Compose a journal entry or a letter to a loved one as a soldier from WWII. Explain what events are going in in the war at this time as well as your feelings regarding these events.
Option 2: Board Game:
Create a board game revolving around WWII. Include questions that ask for recall of basic facts as well as deep-thinking questions (provide correct answers to the basic facts and potential answers to the deep-thinking questions).
Option 3: Poetry Slam:
Write and perform a poetry slam that includes all of the above listed criteria. You can write from whatever point-of-view interests you (soldier, family member of soldier, person living during the war, person reflecting on the war nowadays, etc.).
Option 4: Timeline:
Create a timeline of the events that occurred during WWII beginning with the Hitler’s invasion of Poland in 1939. Be sure to include the above criteria. Points 4 & 5 can be included as a separate written piece.

Create an engaging movie that addresses the above criteria. Use any resource available to you (iMovie, Animoto, etc.). The movie can be a live-action film, in which you recreate scenes from World War II, or can be a collection of images with text that explains the images.
